Chinese-owned company modernises Mozambique’s most luxurious hotel

Maputo, Mozambique, 9 June – Sogecoa (Moçambique), a consruction company owned by two Chinese businessmen, Jian Qingde and Jiang Zhaoya, is refurbishing Serena, the most luxurious hotel in the Mozambican capital, Macauhub has learned from a source at the Tourism Ministry.

The source contacted by Macauhub also said that the modernisation of the 5-star hotel, owned by the Aga Khan Foundation for Economic Development, would cost around US$24 million.
