  1. I thoroughly enjoyed facilitating a group of 8 students from various faith backgrounds at this Interfaith Youth Dinner Dialogue.

All the students were great! They didn’t have any issues with “listening” while others talked about their personal stories and perspectives. They were genuinely inquisitive of each other’s faith and asked questions during the “free talk time” to further understand others’ perspectives. Their articulation of their own faith was very impressive and their language was suprisingly (to me) very inclusive. It seemed to me that they chose their words very carefully (though it was very natural for them). They brought out the idea of universal ethics of equality. After the dialogue, they concluded that though apparently we seem so different in our outlook, we have so much in common. They appreciated the opportunity to be able to openly talk about their personal faith experiences, at the same time they also appreciated the differences we all bring to this world.
