Orchids and other flowers overlook the char bagh, or four-part garden. In keeping with the Aga Khan’s desire for openness, the two ends of the garden enclosure are glass.

    John’s picture taking at Rideau Hall of the Governor General receiving Hazar Imam is also stunning. I had the pleasure of purchasing several 11 x 14 prints, and they are amongst the best pictures in my collection. Clear, vivid, and captivating. In some of his photos he has drawn that direct eye contact from both Mawlana Hazar Imam and the Governor General that make the photos that much more extra special and intimate.
