Thousands are filling the Round Up Centre for their opportunity to hear the Aga Khan.

The spiritual leader of more than 15-million Ismaili Muslims is in Calgary and is speaking to Calgary’s Ismaili community on Monday.
This is the first time in 16 years that his highness has been in Calgary.
He arrived on Sunday night and was greeted by Ron Steven, the deputy premier and Calgary’s mayor, Dave Bronconnier. Hundreds also gathered inside the hanger for the chance to see the Aga Khan.
The Aga Khan is in Canada on a week-long tour. His visit coincides with his Golden Jubilee which marks his 50-years as leader.

Development is not all about economic growth (market based economy), but rather human development. The market has not been able to eradicate poverty. The Agha Khan’s development network is focusing solely on people and their values, as he says “trust in people”,
