American Health Care Academy Volunteers Participate in Dallas Partnership Walk to Take a Step in Ending Global Poverty

American Health Care Academy partnered with and actively took part in this year’s Dallas Partnership Walk, an initiative of Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A., held at the Dallas City Hall Plaza. More than 4,500 participants attended to walk three kilometers to support the annually held event that raises awareness and funds to alleviate global poverty.

American Health Care Academy volunteers were amongst the scores of teams from corporations, universities, schools and other community organizations. Academy youth volunteers helped in the Village in Action, where participants have an opportunity to engage in activities and learn how people in developing countries create solutions to overcome challenges of low income, poor health conditions and limited educational opportunities.
