This is an awe-inspiring collection of photographs. As the author says: “…When one walks through the centre, one gets the sense of being in an infinite space…” On my visit to the Centro Ismaili in Lisbon, Portugal in 2003 I found sitting on a bench in the courtyard to be a sublime experience: The flora and natural scenery are an example of Allah’s supreme manifestation and Immanence, the Universe in which we live, move and have our being. The geometric design of the water fountain and its satellite streams are symbolic of Allah the Transcendent, beyond anything to do with his creation but a mystery we all covet.

Excellent photographs. Thanks for transporting us to that serene place via a very thoughtful presentation and personal touch.
