  1. This is done magnificently Imtiaz F. You have sung with lots of devotion and should continue to serve Mawlana Hazar Imam with the gift of your voice. There is high density in your voice and I feel like deedar is closer now, there is a feeling of celebration of rejoicing. Why haven’t we heard of you all this time ? I wish you success in your music and May Mawlana Hazar Imam bless you with lots more music and seva enlightening us on a global basis. Keep up the supreme work in all its standards and thank you for sharing your talent. I’ve also heard your other geets and my heart is enriched with so much happiness as we welcome Golden Jubilee of our Hazar Imam.

Wish you success through your journey Imtiaz F.

I don’t know if we are talking about the same family, but my Nana and Nani were (Late) Hussein and Shirin Fazalbhoy from Bombay, Bandra. I am the son of (Late) Abdul Sultan Fazalbhoy of Karachi Pakistan and Nabath Khanoo (Alive and Healthy and I hope and pray she stays that way). Whatever I do musically today, it is my Mothers prayers and blessings. She taught me my first Sargam. God bless her.
    I thank you all again.

I just wanted to express my thanks to everyone for warm comments.
Thanks, Inayat (Enoo) for the wonderful comment.
Inayat taught me to play the GUITAR years earlier, and we were part of a band in Karachi. He is the nephew of late Karim Shahbuddin (Celebrated music composer of the Pakistani film industry) and a fantastic musician himself. Inayat has released several cd, and his most recent one is “Mere Mowla”

I also want to thank Jaferali for the lovely comment. (Comment # 33) Not only is Jaferali my childhood buddy, but also a very fine musician and a singer, and was third member of the band. He recites the ginan beautifully on a regular basis in one of the J.K’s in Edmonton Alberta. Jaferali is son of the most respected Ginan Tutor Mr.Jafersadiq Surmawala of Karachi Pakistan, and chances are that today people all over the world (Of Pakistani origin) reciting or teaching ginans were at one time students of Mr. Jafersadiq Surmawala. Both Jaferali and I were students of his class.
