Seven Richmond Hill students have been selected for 2008 Canada Millenium Scholarship Foundation Excellence Awards and thousands to invest in their education.
The awards are given to outstanding students who show leadership, innovation, academic standing and community service. They will be presented with their awards by Lt.-Gov. David Onley June 23.
The awards are given on either a local, provincial, or national level.

Zahra Tejani is a student at University of Toronto Schools who has organized volunteers and planned outings for the Ismaili Volunteer Corps.
Zahra has also been a math tutor for three years, collected school supplies for students in rural Afghanistan and taught English for a month in Ecuador.
