His Highness the Aga Khan is the forty-ninth hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims. He assumed the office of the Imamat in July 1957, making 2007 the Golden Jubilee of his spiritual leadership. The Aga Khan Development Network, a group of institutions and agencies, including non-profit hospitals and schools, is present in over thirty countries and works actively to eradicate poverty. One of the Network’s recent projects is the Global Centre for Pluralism, which will be established in Ottawa in co-operation with the Government of Canada. The Aga Khan became an honorary Companion of the Order of Canada in 2005.

According to the publishing company’s website, the book will be released and distributed in Canada starting May 2008. We will keep an eye on it if it gets a wider distribution.

Where Hope Takes Root will publish in Canada in May, 2008 and is available for pre-order on http://www.amazon.ca (order now, receive the book when it becomes available).
The US pub date is September and the book will be available for pre-order on http://www.amazon.com in February. I beleive that Amazon.com will be able to ship worldwide, but I cannot guarantee this.
I will post an update if the book becomes available in any other countires as soon as I have that information.

i am very pleased to say that our spiritual leader his highness prince Karim Aga Khan is showing the essence of islam to the whole world by making his best efforts to tranquilize the world the global center for pluralism is huge sign of his efforts.
