Seminar: “Investing in Quality Education” University of Ottawa. (register, salman@akfc.ca; http://www.akfc.ca) 6-9p.m. Free. The Aga Khan Foundation Canada is holding its annual University and College Seminar Series. Mahmuda Akhter, head of the Early Childhood Education Resource Centre at BRAC’s Institute for Educational Development, Bangladesh; and Safida Begum, professional development advisor for Aga Khan Foundation, Afghanistan, will discuss the role of education from early childhood to post-secondary to professional development in facilitating the development process. A discussion will follow.
