Prophet Isa (pbuh), also known as Jesus, is highly revered in Islam. The Holy Qur’an mentions his miraculous birth, his role as a prophet, and his special titles, such as “The Messiah,” “a spirit from God,” and “a word” from God. He is considered one of the greatest prophets and a mercy to humanity. His lineage and the significance of Prophet Zakariya are also highlighted in the Qur’an.
