PRCA is the world’s largest public relations body, representing 35,000 professionals in 82 countries across regions. Every year, its Asia Pacific chapter recognizes outstanding practitioners and teams across 32 categories for their innovation, quality work, and exceptional campaigns and contributions to the industry at its annual APAC Awards.

“It is indeed a rare privilege for in-house practitioners, especially from institutes of higher learning, to be placed alongside senior PR industry leaders,” said Marwan M. Kraidy, dean and CEO of Northwestern Qatar. “Keshvani’s accomplishment underscores the importance of innovative and impactful communication strategies in today’s rapidly evolving media landscape. We are proud of the global recognition this Award brings to Northwestern Qatar.”

The international jury named Keshvani PR/Communications Leader of the year, an accolade reserved for exceptional in-house and consultancy leaders. Awardees are judged on their leadership, initiative, character, and performance, and for making a significant contribution to industry and their organizations.

“The PRCA APAC Awards is not merely a celebration of individual accomplishments, but a collective recognition of the dedication, creativity, and innovation that define our profession. Each entry represents countless hours of hard work, strategic vision, and commitment to delivering exceptional results for clients and stakeholders. Winning a PRCA award is a testimony of dedication, hard work, and innovation,” said Tara Munis, head of PRCA Asia Pacific.

In his 30-year global career, Keshvani has won numerous film, communications, and outstanding service awards. This is his fifth public relations and communications award. He has architected communications for numerous academic institutions and taught media, digital content, and public relations. He previously served as vice president of the Institute of Public Relations, Singapore, and in recognition of his thought leadership, he was recently named LinkedIn’s Top Voice.

“Organizations like the PRCA play a critical role and provide an opportunity to benchmark institutions and individuals to gold standards. It is an honor to join the ranks of captains of industry. Communications is never an individual effort but the culmination of robust teams working alongside stakeholders striving towards a common vision,” said Keshvani.

At Northwestern Qatar, he spearheads communications and public affairs aligned with the school’s mission and values. Most recently, he was founding senior associate director of strategic communications at the National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
