Founded in 1979, the Tropical Agriculture Association International (TAA International, or simply TAAI) is a dynamic, global network of active professionals and practitioners who recognise the central role of environmentally, socially and economically sustainable agriculture and agrifood systems to economies and livelihoods in developing countries.
Professor Amir Kassam has been appointed guest editor of the special issue of the journal Ag4Dev on Conservation Agriculture and the Environment.
Professor Amir Kassam is Visiting Professor in the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, University of Reading. He is the Moderator of the Global Platform on Conservation Agriculture Community of Practice (CA-CoP). He is the Convener of the TAA International Land Husbandry Group. His research,education and development activities are focussed on sustainable agriculture and food systems with special interest in Conservation Agriculture.
