alyjan_dayaAlyjan Daya graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2018 with three bachelor’s degrees in Islamic Studies (Departmental Honors), Computer Science, and Business Administration (Business Honors Program). While in undergraduate school, he completed his senior research thesis, titled “The Transformation of
Imāmology: Ascension of the Imām in Nizārī Ismā‘īlīsm”, in which he traces the development of
Imāmology in Ismā‘īlī Islam from the 10th to the 13th centuries. Alyjan’s primary research interests include Ismā‘īlī theology, philosophy, and esoteric hermeneutics or ta’wīl. He currently works at HomeAway (Expedia) as a Software Engineer.
