Jenny Gulamani-Abdulla and Ghalib Abdulla have established Canadian Federation For Citizenship
Canadian Federation for Citizenship (CFC) is a non-partisan, non-sectarian and non profit organization which aims to engage citizens of Canada to develop homegrown leadership through active citizenship. Founded by Jenny Gulamani-Abdulla and Ghalib Abdulla, CFC works to ensure that all residents of Canada are embraced, included and respected as all Canadians to participate in Canada’s progress. Its mission to promote citizenship is steered by the principles that: Citizenship is a notable relationship that binds all Canadians, and, that it requires one to be accountable for others.
Jenny is a member of the International Bar Association and has been practicing
Immigration for almost 25 years. She is currently Taskforce Chairperson at the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, for Women Migrants and Global Citizenship. Ghalib is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Senior Partner at GNA LLP. He is Past President of Entrepreneurial Chartered Professional Accountants of Calgary.
During Citizenship Week in Canada, CFC announced two new appointments on its Advisory Board – Former Citizenship Judge Ann Marie Wilson and Indigenous CEO, Philanthropist and Order of Canada Recipient Dr. Marie Delorme.
