Toronto Women in Music: Ruhee Dewji

Toronto Women in Music: Ruhee Dewji

Ruhee Dewji plays tenor & baritone saxophone, flute, guitar, keyboard, banjo, clarinet, and anything else that happens to be laying around. On top of all that, she sings too. When Ruhee was six, she started playing flute, but wanted to quit when she was eight. Wisely, her mom convinced her to “just try it for another year”, and the rest is history. She’s been playing for about 22 years now.
