This webinar will discuss how to set up an Innovation organization that succeeds at taking products to market, as opposed to one that prototypes ideas that sit on the shelves for years. The presenter will talk through iterative Innovation, key trends and the criticality of business alignment and collaboration.

Sarah Laiwala is the Director of Digital Experiences at The Walt Disney Company, where she is responsible for Innovation, apps and websites for Parks & Resorts. Under her leadership, the Disneyland app was honored “Best Use of GPS or Location Technology” in 2016 at the 20th annual Webby Awards. Prior to that, Sarah was at Amazon growing its flagship shopping app for Android. Sarah started off her career as an engineer at Apple and earned her M.S. in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. She also received the Dean’s Return on Education Award from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010. In addition to working at Disney today, Sarah serves as the Chairman of the Aga Khan Education Board for the Western Region, providing quality education services to the Shia Ismaili Muslim community.
