Hafeez Amarshi elected president of South Asian Bar Association of TorontoHafeez Amarshi of the Public Prosecution Service of Canada was elected as the new president of the South Asian Bar Association of Toronto (SABA Toronto) at the organization’s annual general meeting on Aug. 22.

“I am humbled by the opportunity and looking forward to leading SABA Toronto over the next year as the pre-eminent voice for South Asian lawyers in the province,” said Amarshi in a press release. “We are an organization that is committed to taking a leading advocacy role on issues of concern to our membership and to the wider legal profession in support of an inclusive and dynamic legal community.”
