Gilgit District Ismaili Boy Scouts Association’s Summer Hike 2017

Ismaili District Boy Scouts Association Gilgit organized Scout Summer Hike 2017 on August 18-20, 2017 promoting the slogan: Say No to Drugs.

A total of 71 scouts, including leaders, participated in the activities. The venue of the hike was Goharabad to Gahkuch (34 KM). In addition to the higher level objectives of instilling the civic duties into worldview of the youth, the Hike promoted education for the public through awareness-raising campaign about the negative impact of drug abuse and identifying steps for suicide prevention.

The role of the Scouts was highly applauded by the Honorable Ismaili Regional Council President, Honorary Secretary, Chairman AKYSB and executive committee, Gilgit.
