Tia Rose Brueggeman and Shazan Jiwa were married July 3 in Washington. The Rev. Ezio Marchetto performed the ceremony at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, where he is the pastor.

Mr. Jiwa, 30, is a management and strategy associate in the stocks division at Goldman Sachs. He graduated from Yale and received a master’s degree in management studies from Duke.
He is a son of Rozmin Jiwa and Zahir D. Jiwa of Vancouver, British Columbia. The groom’s parents, both pharmacists, own a Shoppers Drug Mart franchise there.
