A chat with Anar Simpson on Women & Tech – Winner of SDG5 Award at the World Government Summit Conference

One year ago, United Nations adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of which aims for true gender equality by 2030.

Anar Simpson is a Deputy, Special Advisor, Office of the Chair, Women Girls and Technology at Mozilla. She was part of the panel at The UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment.

After wrapping up the World Government Summit Conference where as members of the UN HLP for Women’s Economic Empowerment, Anar’s team focused in the SDGs panel and won the award for SD5 (Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls).

Anar Simpson also delivered a live talk at the Heriot-Watt University in Dubai.
