The chronicle of Willowdale Jamat Khana (JK) is not just a narrative of the facilities. It also parallels and reflects Ismaili settlement in Toronto, beginning in the early 1970s. As the jamat grew in those early days so did it fill up the JK and in turn spawned the opening of more. This story tries to record its many aspects as well as give voice to many of the figures in its history.
