Out of Our Minds on KKUP is a 45 year old poetry radio show hosted by Rachelle Escamilla (Poetita). The show airs live on KKUP Cupertino 91.5fm in the Bay Area or streams live on http://www.kkup.org. Rachelle Escamilla is the founder of the Poets and Writers Coalition at San Jose State University.
In this show, Ayaz discuss his book, as well as topics including the East African immigrant experience, race and color, heritage and identity. He reads poems from his book as well as his new manuscript.
