Ruks is an Ismaili semi abstract artist who hails from the Sir J. J. School of Art and Sophia College in Mumbai. A celebrated artist who harnesses the beauty, serenity and solitude of nature reminds us that art transcends feelings beyond mortal boundaries. She delivers a truly grounding and elevating experience at the same time.
An artist, often doesn’t seek recognition beyond sharing and translating inspiration to the viewer, but Rukshana has received numerous awards for her artistry including the People’s Choice Art Award in February 2016 and two awards from the Amazing Artists in Quebec in February 2016. She also received an Award of Excellence from Spandan 2015. Using charcoals, with texture and acrylics, Ruks’s paintings depict new beginnings and a chance to re-live the beauty and glory of nature.
