Ayesha Harji
After completing an Honours undergraduate degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Ayesha was recruited into the federal government through the Management Trainee Program, a leadership and skills development program.
Following a stint in the Privy Council Office’s Security and Intelligence Division, Ayesha now works as a Senior Policy Analyst in the International Affairs Division of Public Safety Canada, where she leads the management of the department’s multilateral engagement with the United Nations (UN) and the Organization of American States (OAS) on issues of human rights, law enforcement, counter-terrorism, border security and corrections.
