Fozia Tahir: Waste Water Treatment - Oxford UniversityFozia Tahir belongs to Khyber village located in the northern areas of Pakistan. She did her basic schooling from Gilgit and then migrated to Rawalpindi for higher education.

Fouzia did her BS in Environmental sciences from Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) and her MS in Environmental Sciences from National University of Science and Technology (NUST). Her research title in MS was “Investigation of sludge characteristics and bacterial diversity of membrane bioreactor systems” which led to her interest in forward osmosis for waste-water treatment.

She is currently a third year DPhil candidate studying Engineering Science at Jesus college. In Pakistan, she was a part of Aga khan Education Services.

In this video, Fozia explains Forward Osmosis Technology to Oxford University press club. She talks about the FOMT which is an innovative and quicker way to process waste water.
