My New Year's resolutions, by Canadian Nurses Association president Karima VeljiThose of us who believe in making personal New Year’s resolutions often set out to eat better, exercise more and spend less time at our screens and more time with family and friends.

But what about professional resolutions? As CNA president, I aspire to strengthen our profession and the association within Canada and beyond our borders. With that in mind, I’ve made this list of resolutions that I hope you will join me in following:

  • Be mindful of our shared purpose: The common thread among the various groups of nurses is dedication to better health for all.
