His Highness the Aga Khan is the 49th hereditary Imam (spiritual leader) of the Shia Ismaili Muslims, a global, multiethnic community. Through the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), he has been committed to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable populations, while emphasizing the need to uphold human dignity as well as respect for tolerance and pluralism.
The lecture will be followed by a conversation with Diana Eck, Professor of Comparative Religion and Director, Pluralism Project at Harvard University.
