Bengaluru, Sept 23: Highlighting the gaps that the anganwadis in the state face today, Umashree, Minister of Women and Child Welfare and Kannada & Culture, today said that there were many lapses in the early childhood education chain related to anganwadis.

“We are making an effort to control the lapses in this education chain,” Umashree said at the Seminar on ‘Early Childhood Education in Anganwadis- Patnerships and Opportunities’ organised by Akshara Foundation.[…]

Following her address, there was a panel discussion moderated by Rohini Nilekani.
