Love was a supreme virtue that Arif possessed naturally and confidently.
For those who met Arif for the first time, were quick to learn of his genius ability to command a friendly challenge.
He was the beautiful and imperfect diamond to his family and friends. Arif aspired to one day become a lawyer, Arif was on a path to practice in the arena of Human Rights and specifically, in the field of Aboriginal Law and Rights.
Giving a voice to those whose voices often went unheard. Arif volunteered much of his time and love to various causes such as those towards battered women’s shelter. Arif was a genuine and decent human being, who saw wrong in the world and attempted to right it to the best of his ability.
He saw suffering and pain and tried to heal it. He saw strife and tried to mend it. His friendship was natural, easy and loving. He wore his heart on his sleeve. It burst out of his chest when he laughed. He treasured happiness, friendship and his family. He always had surprises tucked away in his pockets to unleash on those least suspecting and most deserving.
Arif was called to higher Heavenly responsibilities on October 15, 2013.
His Memory will be Cherished, Missed, Loved, Appreciated, Sustained, Adored, and displayed proudly in the way of his work being continued by his family and friends through charitable work at Gillian’s Place, Tender Wishes Foundation & The United Way “Welcome Kit”.
The focus of our current endeavour and the purpose of us seeking YOUR help and support is to continue and further Arif’s Legacy.
