When Shannon’s sister, fellow AKF Run Team member Meegan, first told her about the Aga Khan Foundation, she knew she had to jump on this opportunity. Shannon was inspired by the way the Foundation invests in people to break the cycle of poverty. She is excited to be running the 2015 TCS New York Marathon with the AKF Run Team to bring hope to communities across Asia and Africa.
