An Ismaili selected as Peace Ambassador in Af-Pak Youth Dialogue
Abdul Ghaffar Nazari Civil Society Activist and Manager Training and Development HR of Roshan Telecom Company, has been selected to as Peace Ambassador, an Ismaili Afghan delegate, representing Afghanistan Youth in Afghanistan-Pakistan Youth Dialogue.
Af-Pak Youth Dialogue is joint project of “ANGO” from Afghanistan and “PEAD” from Pakistan. The initiative aims to create a forum of vibrant, creative and socially active youth from Afghanistan and Pakistan for citizen to citizen dialogue. 8 selected youth from each country will have the unique opportunity to interact and learn about the challenges faced by both countries and propose creative plans for bridging the gaps between the people of the two countries.
He will have the opportunity to;
– Attend a conference in Kabul and Islamabad in August 2015
– Interact with government functionaries, politicians, academicians
– Arrange videoconferences in education institutions linking with an institution in the other country
– Develop action plans to facilitate citizen-to-citizen dialogue
