Inside Toronto | TORONTO EVENTS: 8 things to do this weekend (May 22-24) => World Partnership Walk & Doors Open Toronto (Aga Khan Museum & Ismaili Centre, Toronto)

Temperatures in Toronto are expected to climb into the 20s by the time this weekend’s over, so it’s a good opportunity to get out of doors – including all those that are part of this weekend’s Doors Open Toronto.

That event headlines our list of 8 things to do in Toronto this weekend, from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24.

1. On Saturday and Sunday, it’s DOORS OPEN TORONTO

More than 155 buildings across the city are open to the community. Free. Some dates and times vary. To review events by date, click the purple date links above.

A free, expert-led tour of the Aga Khan Park, courtesy of The Cultural Landscape Foundation’s What’s Out There Weekend Toronto, is available. Visit Special Programs for details and registration. Limited space available.

7. Sunday is the TORONTO WORLD PARTNERSHIP WALK at Metro Hall

This is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds to fighting global poverty

The Walk is Canada’s largest annual event dedicated to increasing awareness and funds to fight global poverty. For the past 31 years, thousands of Torontonians have united with 10 cities across Canada to raise a total of almost $90 million for incredible international development programs delivered by the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC). AKFC is a world-renowned, non-denominational organization that supports sustainable development approaches to tackle the complex problems of global poverty. Thanks to the help of Canadians, the Walk has helped AKFC make amazing things happen – like vaccinating more than 5.8 million children!
