ATN interview with Rumina Velshi, Aga Khan Foundation Canada, Toronto and Farah Bhanji, Director Teams Program.
An initiative of the Aga Khan Foundation Canada, the World Partnership Walk provides an experience that is both meaningful and fun for the whole family through activities that inform, educate, celebrate and entertain.
Activities include team games, a kids’ zone, on-stage entertainment and delicious food. Participants can also learn about their ‘dollars at work’ at the Change is Possible tent.
The walk site opens at 8 a.m. with closing remarks scheduled for 2:35 p.m. Family activities kick off at 8:30 a.m. The actual walk is slated to kick off at 11:15 a.m.
New this year, the Canadian Aga Khan Foundation will have a new mobile exhibition on site designed to spark conversations about the role Canadians can play in reducing global poverty.
