Vancouver’s The Word On The Street is Western Canada’s largest celebration of words and reading. Held on the last Sunday of September at the downtown Library Square, The Word On The Street Vancouver promotes books and authors with free exhibits, performances and hands-on activities for a wide range of ages and interests.
Annually, Vancouver’s The Word On The Street attracts an estimated 35,000 visitors, and hundreds of participating exhibitors, authors, performers and volunteers to Library Square for literary readings, cookbook demonstrations, music, contests, panels and much more.
