NIPM (National Institute of Personnel Management), India’s largest and oldest association of HR professionals in India, organized its Western regional (Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa) HR Conference on 7th and 8th March 2014 in Mumbai. The theme of the conference was ‘Nesting (Employee Engagement) for Business Sustenance’.
Dr. Farida Virani, eminent Faculty and HOD (HR & Behavioural Sciences), MET and Executive Committee Member, NIPM was the Master of Ceremony for the conference and was entrusted the task of inviting and editing articles contributed towards the NIPM souvenir. She was also a Speaker at the conference and addressed the audience on the sub theme ‘Employee Engagement through Social Media – Boon or Bane?’ A short movie clip along with her crisp and focused thoughts was appreciated as an innovative and interesting approach of presentation and was well received by the audience.
