70 Years of Partnership: Aga Khan Development Network TanzaniaExcerpt: Speaking during a recent visit of the Oncology ward at the Aga Khan hospital, in Dar es Salaam where the Mayor was briefed on plans to expand the hospital’s service delivery and underway is the establishment of over 30 outreach centers across the country.

“In excess of 130bn/- has been proposed for the construction of the outreach centers,” Aga Khan Health Services Regional Chief Executive Officer, Sulaiman Shahabuddin told the mayor.

In line with the mayor’s call, the CEO said free cancer screening services to mothers and children will be offered at all these centers.

Shahabuddin said with 70 years of partnership in the country, the Aga Khan foundation is dedicated to providing more and accessible health services to Tanzanians.
