The Commonwealth Secretariat held a meeting as part of the UN Commission on the Status of Women events held in New York. The Commonwealth meeting had speakers from the UN and the World Bank discussing progress and projects on Women’s Economic Development.
Dr Shaheena Janjuha-Jivraj was invited to discuss the findings of a report published last year entitled ‘Paving the Way to Opportunities, Women in Leadership across the Commonwealth’ and springboard new research benchmarking progress for Commonwealth countries in achieving gender diversity in senior leadership roles. This project is a collaboration between the Commonwealth Secretariat, Boardwalk Leadership and Henley Business School. A report from the meeting will be published shortly.
