08 April 2014, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic – On 8-9 April 2014, the University of Central Asia (UCA) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) hosted a regional research conference on Agricultural Transformation and Food Security in Central Asia in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Government officials, development partners, and researchers from the region and abroad engaged in cross-country dialogues, and identified knowledge gaps related to agricultural and structural transformation and food security policy in Central Asia.
