Roshan, through its Corporate Social Responsibility Arm – Roshan Community – and public and private partners, connects the French Medical Institute for Children (FMIC) with the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) in Karachi. The telemedicine project now extends to four regional hospitals – 3 in Afghanistan and one in Tajikistan, providing life-saving medical expertise that would otherwise not be available to rural populations.
