New Centre Of Islamic Culture, The Aga Khan Museum, To Run On Altus Dynamics ERP

New Centre Of Islamic Culture, The Aga Khan Museum, To Run On Altus Dynamics ERPThe Aga Khan Museum is an initiative of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network and will be dedicated to the preservation of Muslim arts and culture. Encompassing 10,000 sq m of space, it will house collections of Islamic art and heritage, including artefacts from the private collections of His Highness the Aga Khan, the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London, and Prince and Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan. Situated in east Toronto, the Museum is scheduled to open in September 2014.

In December 2013 a select number of industry vendors were invited to submit a proposal for the provision of a new Financial Management, Point of Sale, grant and donation management solution to run the operations of the Museum. Altus Dynamics was one of the select few able to meet these requirements, and through a number of rounds of demonstrations and meetings overcame stiff competition from competitive systems Financial Edge from Blackbaud and ERP 300, formerly AccPac, by Sage. “We’re thrilled to be working with the Aga Khan Museum and to add another high profile cultural institution to our growing list of clients which includes The Canadian Museum of History, formally The Canadian Museum of Civilization, The Canadian War Museum and The National Gallery of Canada,” comments Altus Dynamics CEO, Colin Dickinson. “The Aga Khan Museum has international significance and illustrates the cultural diversity and acceptance here in Canada that makes such a cultural project possible. We’re looking forward to contributing to the success of the museum for the enjoyment of all,” adds Dickinson.
