Ottawa, 26 February 2014 — Mawlana Hazar Imam arrived in Canada this afternoon, ahead of the historic address that he will deliver to the Canadian Parliament tomorrow. He was received by the Honourable Chris Alexander, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, Members of Parliament Costas Menegakis and John Weston, Chantal Chastenay, Acting Chief of Protocol of Canada, and Jamati leaders led by Ismaili Council for Canada President Alijah Malik Talib.
