A pediatrician takes on immigration and refugee health care cuts to explain why they make no economic sense:
“This has not been well thought out…there is a good chance that these individuals will become landed immigrants or Canadian citizens. We are denying care for them now. By the time they become Canadians, the burden of disease would be much higher. There is no economic sense in this.”
