- Support from generous corporate sponsors and businesses continue to be integral to the Walk’s success, with more than $2 million raised through these channels.
- In 2013, the Walk went social – fans entered contests, submitted their photos, and shared their passion with other Walk supporters across the country via a national Walk Facebook page (www.facebook.com/wpwalk). And in May, a Walk flashmob hit the streets of Toronto with a captivating performance by more than 80 Walk supporters.
