The Aga Khan School, Dhaka Celebrates Its Silver JubileeStudents, parents, teachers and staff of The Aga Khan School, Dhaka are taking great pride in celebrating 25 years of educational excellence in Bangladesh this year. The school was established in 1988 with only 25 students and seven teachers, and was headed by a principal. Today the student body has grown to over 1,200 students with 200 teachers and staff. The school is also part of an international network of 240 schools in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, the Kyrgz Republic, Uganda, Tanzania and Tajikistan. Ever since its establishment, The Aga Khan School, Dhaka has strived to offer a nurturing educational environment which provides each student with opportunities to develop to his or her fullest potential, while creating a harmonious balance between academic demands, sports, cultural activities and community life.
