Marine conservation and coastal livelihoods

Marine conservation and coastal livelihoodsNatural gas company BG Tanzania is in discussion with the Aga Khan Foundation in Tanzania to develop a long-term integrated livelihoods and conservation programme for Mnazi Bay Ruvuma Estuary Marine Park (MBREMP) from 2013. It is intended that this will serve as the basis for future development support to coastal communities, as well as for conservation, as we progress our plans to develop an LNG project on the coast of Southern Tanzania.
