My introduction to the Bead Bai pages says everything you want to know about how I think of that book. Plus two bonus pages. One thing I am trying harder and harder everyday to establish as we get nearer the publication date is that my book is not just a collection of stories. It has much more beside and even the stories have been carefully edited to ensure they read well, so that my book is not one of these fly-by-night books Indian-heritage con artistes put together from a visit from Hong Kong and USA. My book innovates words on the go.
Reviewers needed.
Bead Bai pages have been approved by Sultan Somjee. The extracts here come from 10-12 pages so there is embedded work here. – Vali Jamal, October 3, 2013
