2000 show up for Birmingham, Alabama Partnership Walk - WVTM-TV NewsBIRMINGHAM, AL – Organizers say around 2000 people showed up for the Partnership Walk at Railroad Park, Sunday.

The annual event raises money and awareness for some of the poorest areas of Africa and Asia.

The Aga Khan Foundation U.S.A is the national organization spearheading the effort.

All of the proceeds go to the projects supported by the foundation.

Some of the honored guests includes former Mrs. Alabama Autumn Wallace and UN youth ambassador Tanya Devani.

Mayor William Bell delivered the keynote speech.
