Shirin Malik is a gemologist and have a bachelors in biology.
Amongst many other fields which Shirin is passionate about; art has always been a natural outreach for her. She has ardent love for the mystic works. Her love for philosophy would never let her pass on an opportunity to explore venues to gain a deeper insight into the soul.
Conference of the birds was a play she had watched while she was a resident in UK. It’s a very powerful play, and drove home a message that highlighted a simple message: The journey, the search, the truth, lies closer to home if not within us.
Shirin was raised in London UK and her parents are originally from India. Her father and mother both have had a driving hand in her successes. If it were not for their guidance she would not be achieving her successes. Shirin hopes to share some visions through the art pieces that she may create in the future.

Enjoyed reading Shirin’s blog. Conference of the Birds by Farid al-Din Attar is an excellent piece of mystic work. To me his master piece is Tadkiratul Aulya (Memorial of the saints). I wish all the best in your work.
