Hanif Noormohamed is a Singer/Composer born in Karachi Pakistan and learned contemporary music in his early childhood from Maestro Sohail Rana and later on took classical vocal training from (Late) Ustad Allah Ditta Khan.
Hanif also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from University of North Carolina, Charlotte, where he studied Western Classical and Jazz music.
By profession, Hanif holds a Bachelor’s in Information Technology from California State University, Fullerton, and he works as a Software Consultant for a Major Software Consulting Company out of Southern California.
Hanif’s musical style is a pure crossover between the East and the West which starts from the Indian / Middle Eastern Rhythm & Melodies mixed with the Latin Rhythm to the Reggae, Funk, Soul and the Orchestral music.
He has performed with various artists on major TV and Radio stations and given live concerts all over U.S, Canada, U.K, Dubai, India, and Pakistan. Hanif has produced 5 CD albums and numerous Music Videos that were released globally.
This is his 5th. CD Album called “Back 2 the Roots” that was launched on Dec 14th. 2012. Hanif is also working with Sony Entertainment, B 4 U to produce a Fusion music video with one of the R&B / Hip Hop Bands in Hollywood, California.
